Ok, ok, it is just skin and it’s normal. However, somewhere along the line, we have been brainwashed to seeing this as unacceptable and a negative. Truth is, we all have skin. Of course if I stand up, suck it in and have some great lighting, boom, I’ve got the shot without the rolls.
My point? Drop a dress size, bikini diet, little black dress diet, none of these focus on long term mindset shifts, shifts that you can implement and sustain long term. A better approach is achieving optimal health and longevity and this can be done by rejecting the yo yo diet culture. Not easy to do when it’s been ingrained in us from a young age and its being shoved down our throats (no pun intended) on a daily/hourly basis. Eating disorders are on the up, some link social media to the increase. So what is the answer to this huge problem?
I don’t have all the answers (if any) but, can you all just please go follow @evelyntribole this woman is an Oracle and talks a whole heap of sense and delivers it with her infectious laugh and fab energy.

“Diet mentality- dieting makes your mind go externally instead of going internally to see what is really going on.”
We focus so much on “dieting” that we ignore hunger, a natural body response. By depriving ourselves of, lets say chcolate, all we can think about is chocolate! MODERATION, I say in a shouty voice! If you stop seeing it as a cheat and incorporate it when you want, the focus shifts. Some common sense is obviously required. We all know that 14 chocolate bars a day, probably isn’t going to do us any favours. “When you diet it increases risk of eating disorders, it causes rebound weight gain. Research shows that after 5 years all the weight comes back on and often with more weight.
Weight loss dieting is not sustainable. Dieting leads to weight gain and the focus and preoccupation on weight leads to body dissatisfaction and weight stigma which negatively impacts health”
