One day, something just clicks. After years of existing, you realise what is truly important and what isn’t worth fretting over anymore. I’m not quite sure if this comes with age and confidence or if it’s just a lightbulb moment BUT when it happens, it is the most liberating feeling EVER. No more worrying about what people think of you, no more self doubt, no more trying to fit in and the realisation that “stuff” doesn’t define who you are as a person.
It’s the catalyst for change, the moment you say f**k society’s stereotypes and start creating and living the life you want.
I have learnt that some people will judge you whatever you do, so live your life the way you want to not the way others want you to live. Be kind, compassionate and true to yourself. None of us are perfect but we can all try to be perfect human beings.
All hail the lightbulb moment…
