To buy organic or not to buy organic, that is the question…

With the every increasing cost of all foods but especially organic food, it may pay to understand where you should spend your food pennies.  Some of you may be familiar with the Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen list, a list of foods that you absolutely should only buy organic and the ones you are probably wasting your money on.

The “Dirty Dozen” so called due to the high level of chemicals and pesticides they absorb.  I have used the list as my bible for some years, however, the list was actually put together by our American brothers and whilst it has served its purpose,  after some internet digging I discovered the UK list known as The Clean and Mean 18 which was put together by George Dryden, thank you George so here is the UK bible for anyone wanting to “keep it clean”…
