There are literally hundreds of reasons to be happy that present themselves to us daily but more often than not, we are too busy to notice them or in fact to appreciate them.

It’s a fact that happy people are the most productive because they focus on the positive rather than the negative. Happiness is a GREAT feeling and something that can change dramatically without a moments notice which is a perfect reason to practice gratitude daily.

Life’s daily stresses and strains can often make us lose sight of so many reasons to be happy and grateful.  You know the saying “it’s the little things” and “life’s simple pleasures” think about that and if you struggle to think of anything, take a quiet moment each day and take pen to paper and write a list, a gratitude diary.

Before long, the list you so struggled with when you started, will grow and grow as you begin to notice and become grateful for everything around you from the soft comfortable bed you slept in to the taste of your morning coffee to the sounds of the birds singing in the trees – “life’s simple pleasures” and “the little things.”

By focusing on the positive things in your life, your life will become richer in so many ways….
