Apple cider vinegar, in my opinion, needs to be elevated to superfood status. For those of you who haven’t heard of its amazing benefits, where have you been!?? Its benefits aren’t just a current trend but are in fact backed by scientific research.
Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting the sugars from apples. This process turns them into acetic acid, the active ingredient in vinegar and so this superfood is created. Acetic acid, has been proven to kill bacteria and can prevent them from multiplying and reaching harmful levels. Look back in history and you will find that it was used as a disinfectant and natural preservative.
Individuals with Type 11 diabetes may find improved insulin sensitivity and help in lowering blood sugar responses after meals.
If you are looking to lose weight, look no further than A.C.V. Studies have suggested that vinegar can increase feelings of fullness and help people eat fewer calories, which ultimately can lead to weight loss.
